About Little Smiles
Choosing childcare for your child is one of the most important decisions you can make as a parent. We are thrilled that you have show interest to Little Smiles for your child.
We offer two daycare centers, one is Little Smiles Bilingual Daycare and the other is Little Smiles Christian Learning Center.
At Little Smiles, there is no shortage of love for your child. Your
child will feel safe in the environment we provide. You can rest assured that your child will be cared for and appreciated for who they are. We work to understand your child and nourish his/her individual needs. We understand that no two children are the same and will do everything we can to meet the specific needs of your little one.
Every individual who assists us in caring for your child is a carefully selected, trained, experienced caregiver. All caregivers have passed various background checks and completed CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens training and twelve training hours of child education per year.
If any of our primary caregivers is unable to provide services for any period, a substitute caregiver of equal training and experience will provide services. In the event that a substitute caregiver will be providing services for any period, we will notify you at least two weeks in advance.

Erin Farias
Owner and Director of Little Smiles Bilingual Daycare
Hi my name is Erin and I graduated from Calvin College in 2006. I first opened Little Smiles Daycare in 2009 with a capacity for just 6 kids. I expanded to a group daycare with a capacity for 12 and returned to college for child development with the vision of opening and directing a daycare center one day. Little Smiles became a center in 2013 and expanded its capacity in 2015. I view my daycare as less of a business and more of a ministry, and I feel like God isn’t finished with me yet. I am now in the process of opening my second daycare center and am so grateful for my journey. These children, their parents, and my staff have become an extension of my family. We hear often from our families that we aren’t just child care but family. When I’m not owning and directing my daycare center, I enjoy writing and publishing, and singing in Opera Grand Rapids, where I have been a member since 2002. It is an honor that I am trusted and allowed the opportunity to help raise your littles.
Samantha Brubacher
Director of Little Smiles Christian Learning Center
My name is Samantha Brubacher. I got married in 2018 and live in the Grand Rapids/Kentwood area with my wonderful husband and our dog Letti. We are expecting our first child, Gracelyn, in July. I have been working at Little Smiles Daycare for 7 years where I have worked as the lead preschool teacher and assistant director. I am very passionate about working closely with not only the children at the daycare, but their families as well. I am very excited to embark on this new journey as director of Little Smiles Christian Learning Center and cannot wait to meet all of your littles! I have recently finished my C.D.A and am working on finishing up my degree in child development from Grand Rapids Community College. It is my goal to ensure that nobody at Little Smiles Christian Learning Center feels a shortage of love and that all feel welcome when they walk through the doors.
